Conte is Napoli's biggest asset. Even if he has a weaker team and weaker individuals, he is able to compensate that through passion and work ethic. He is a true maniac in the positive sense of that word.
I have actually predicted that Napoli is going to be the favourite for the next season championship but seriously this is not about the team that they have actually build but because of the man behind the team. Currently I don’t think there is no manager in the league that matches Antonio conte in my opinion. Last season he came in when the club was struggling outside the European competition positions and turn them to champions immediately with little signings.
My only worry for the season is that Antonio Conte usually does have this second season syndrome where it doesn’t works out for him in the second season, if we look at his past record I think it is a real problem but currently with way the other clubs aren’t looking good I will still stick to him as the favorite still
Napoli does indeed have a greater chance of reclaiming the Scudetto, but we'll have to wait and see as the season progresses whether they can balance their squad and maintain consistency in every match, especially when facing a fairly packed schedule. This was the main issue for the top clubs in Serie A last season.
The challenge this season will be far more difficult for Napoli to defend their Scudetto title, as this season’s challenges will not only come from the big Serie A clubs but also from underdog teams that have continued to strengthen their squads in the transfer market this season. This season will be even more exciting to watch.
