It is not easy for new players to adapt quickly, especially in the Premier League with its intense gameplay --- so Gyökeres must first adjust in order to improve his performance at Arsenal.
It is more difficult for Arsenal to reach the pinnacle of trophies because they always fail at the end, ultimately achieving nothing each season, which is like a curse even though their team is not that bad.
It could be due to the intense competition, making it difficult for Arsenal to win any competition.
Victor Gyökeres has played in England before although not in the English premier league but his experience in England should be able to tell him what to expect.
I think he is a more mature player and he knows the pressure that he will be on, I think he will do well at Arsenal, he is a hungry striker that really want to deliver at the top level and Arsenal has giving him that chance.
Where? In the Championship?
Gyökeres is certainly a mature striker, but it's not certain that they can compete in the Premier League, especially since you say he's hungry for goals. I'm still skeptical about this because I don't fully know how he will play in the English league.
But hopefully, the results will exceed expectations—let's hope so.
He's played for several England team, Brighton, Swansea, then Coventry and scored lots of goals in Coventry before leaving for Sporting Lisbon to play under Amorim. He's been very good at finding the net and there's hope that he'll do same for Arsenal if only they can create better chances for him cause I after watching the matching against Villarreal I think he didn't score cause they didn't create better chances for him. Arteta started lots of second team players and benched him when players that would create better chance came in.
