Malik Beasley just got evicted from his apartment after being sued twice for failing to pay rent. He made 60 million dollars playing in the NBA. Now he’s being investigated by the FBI for sports betting and is homeless. It’s shocking to me that someone could make 8 figures and still not own a house and have enough invested to set them up for life. These players need a finance guru.
Damn. Pay rent? Malik needs to check on himself he could have a better house even at half a million if he needs to but probably not having the right mind pays it. I think the sports betting investigation is definitely a true to this matter.

On reading the article/news, the total amounts as to why he was evicted was $21,000, I don't think something adds here, even if he sports betting were to be true, I don't think it should have been as severe as him not being able to pay rent while he was still playing actively in the league, and more so the article stated that it's happened twice with the landlord first February and May while he was taken charge to court the first time, before the eviction order finally came in June.

He's creating quite a mess for himself right now, especially being in free agency, I'm sure teams will begin to avoid him now like a plague, at least until the federal investigations are over.
