If you buy through the wrong channels, there's no guarantee the item is genuine and hasn't been tampered with.
It's very easy to avoid getting caught out if people use the internet for positive things in their daily lives.
If the site isn't official, the item is certainly not authentic. Even if someone still gets caught out because they buy from the wrong place, they're really behind the times.
This isn't to belittle people or to accuse them of not being scammed anymore, but with the numerous fraud cases we've read about, people have learned how to anticipate them, especially when buying valuable items that are intended for long-term use and are valuable assets.
That is right it is not always easy to avoid online scams even if we are careful. Many people think they can recognise fake things but scammers are getting smarter all time. They create fake websites and emails that look real and mostly they will try to make us act quickly so we do not have time to think and we act quickly. It is also not fair to say that only new people get scammed. Scammers are always changing their tricks so anyone can fall for new type of fraud. But it is smart to be cautious we should not blame people who become victims.
