So what do you think is your country missing to get out of being a third world country stage?
Political instability and rampant corruption are the main culprits. Can you imagine the vice president of our country divesting half a billion pesos, and the lawmakers do not want to investigate her because of political affiliation?
We are an example of a country that cannot move forward from poverty because our corrupt politicians look for their interests first so that they can remain in power.
Well, I guess partly to blame are the people because we elected these bad politicians.
I will not blame the people because even if we do not vote and nominate someone as president, the politicians and their inner circle will nominate someone to lead the country.
Instead, I believe that corruption and political instability are closely linked. Because I believe that politics in smaller countries (not major powers) are always dominated by outside forces. I believe that it is the superpowers themselves that are causing these things because by doing this the lives of these countries will not improve and that will make these countries more dependent on them. From there, they will always maintain their power.
That is why I believe that a multipolar world would be much better for third world countries and smaller countries than a unipolar world like today.
