It's a shame I didn't create the thread, because I would have titled it: “The Bolsheviks' attack on privacy,” which is what we're talking about.

The ultimate goal is no doubt to get rid of all cash money.
This is their goal obviously, but not only removing cash, they also want to replace everything with CBDC.

Yes, but let's be clear, when we talk about “they,” we are talking about a whole series of politicians who are on the same side. The US was on the same path until the current president came along, who is so unpopular, but he has not only banned the creation of CBDCs there, he has banned the use of any type, even foreign ones. With a different election result, CBDCs would have been launched in the US, and someone with the Euro CBDC could have gone there and used it to exchange or pay for goods and services. That has been wiped out.

There is another who, while in power, will neither allow CBDCs nor wage war on cash:

Milei urges Argentines to bank 'mattress dollars'

I don't see anyone on the forum openly defending a libertarian ideology apart from theymos, but if you care about privacy and other aspects related to bitcoin, it's the most logical choice.

Years ago, after many ATM bombings in my country, they removed many ATMs.

There are more subtle ways than that: reducing the number of branches and ATMs, giving large bills by default, raising the commission for businesses that deposit cash in the bank, limiting cash payments, lowering the limits for automatic reporting to the Treasury, etc. All this while continuing to inflate the currency nonstop, which doubles the effect.
