I have nothing against wanting to invest in altcoins. But I do believe that only very few and close to little altcoins will reach new ATHs. Maybe they will just rise for a few times but ethereum or xrp may not reach their ATHs again. There are other reasons why one would want to invest in altcoins like transactions purposes but I believe if you are hoping to see a coin reach new ATHs this cycle, it will only be bitcoin.

I do sometimes wonder if altcoins are just a ploy to leverage the value of Bitcoin to new heights... Sure Solana, Ethereum, whatever can go up by 20% in a matter of minutes/hours but it also goes down just as much as quickly. In the long term, Bitcoin is the only one actually holding on to value and not only that, but also growing steadily. No other cryptocurrency is growing like that.

Do the founders/devs/investors/traders really not take their profits in Bitcoin? I think they must.
