Does this kind of transactions ever get processed?
Where does the transaction ends?
Does the chain used in transactions notifies or invalidates an address?
That kind of error is mostly for altcoins, not for Bitcoin, as the 4 most commonly used Bitcoin addresses are notsupported and can’t make any withdrawal. If the address is not a Bitcoin address, it won’t go through; it will show as an invalid address. The warning sign is always for altcoins. When you want to withdraw a particular coin down to another exchange, you have to confirm if the token you want to withdraw is also under the same network as the receiving exchange.
For instance, the token might be under BEP20 in exchange A, and exchange B accepts deposits only for the one under ETH or any other network. Making such a mistake by sending it into the wrong network leaves it for the exchange to sympathize with you and use manual to return it back to you, or the coin will be lost forever.
