I fully support your argument, and it's true that many people over hype the player, focusing only on his results with his previous team. What people don't realize is that the competition here is much more competitive and not as easy as they think. Now the fans who hyped Gyokeres up are facing embarrassment after a lackluster performance. This could be a bad start for Arsenal, or it could just be the same as last season.

You can't judge a player after just 63 minutes of play. Gyökeres is a quality player, but considering the challenges of the Premier League, some performances are acceptable. It's unfair to expect him to score 2-3 goals in 63 minutes. You should expect him to play a little longer and adapt to the team. I think he has a bright future. There's no doubt he'll do well for Arsenal.
Hahaha it's so funny, though it's just a meme, that's what makes football fun and entertaining I meant the banter and rivalry amongst fans on and off the media, well it's the pre-season and some club don't perform well during that period but go into the new season then perform very outstanding and finish top four on the table.
Arsenal is one of those teams that's capable of that and now that they've got a quality striker I believe they might do better than anyone thought, this season. I think it's too early to judge Gyokeres yet, he's a quality striker so I believe he'll shine at Arsenal with time.
