Looking at how the points are coming from the remaining active competitor's, its almost certain to say that the said 250x multiplier is much easier to catch than getting a 5x(Sportsbook) on a daily provided you have the bankroll to catch them.

I wouldn't say that slots are easier, the advantage for them is that you can spin every day all the time and the loss per winning submission is probably smaller than in sports betting.
Most of my submissions were from sport betting though.
