So… what are you really doing? Trading? Or just playing a risky game in disguise?

Let’s talk. Cheesy
Every trader has an element of gambling spirit in them while gamblers don't have any element of trading in them. That saying may look a bit confusing but it shouldn't. For every now and then, traders tend to take a higher risk above their usual risk threshold and that's where the gambling spirit comes in. It's not to say that trading is gambling. No, that's far from it.

Traders do that when they think they've a better chance at winning trades than losing them. I do it too. Most times, I get away with it in the positive. On a few occasions, I'm punished for being that daring as price takes me out and hits my stop loss. For me, every trade should come with a higher reward to risk level before I take it. On a normal, I may risk just 2% on a trade but when I see setups I feel higher probability of winning than losing, I do 10% or above. That's the type I call "trade gambling".
