With any luck, Manchester united could bounce back from the poor performance suffered in recent times. They surely didn't have a good run last season, finishing poorly in 15th spot. One can only hope that Amorim could make a difference and with the recent new signings, it sure looks a bit more hopeful.
He's under the spotlight now. He has some new players and I guess supporters are curious on how he's going to take up the challenge and manage the team to attain victory.
Their performances and rank in the past season are very bad and disappointed, so they will not aim at a new season with poor performances and such terrible rank. Ruben Amorim will lose his job very quickly if they let Manchester United performing terribly and falling to any rank around 10th of Premier League ranking table. Their head coach position will only be secured if he can help Manchester United standing around 6th positions or even a little bit under it like 7th or 8th position.
Manchester United have secured some reliable players for the new season, after Chuna and Mbumeo, and now they've successfully brought Benjamin Sesko to Old Trafford. With their arrival, I'm a little optimistic that Amorim can correct the mistakes of the previous season.
I hope they add strength in goalkeeping and midfield to make them even more competitive in the new season.
Assume players they bought in this summer transfer market are quality and actually can combine with other teammates well in order to help Manchester United having a strong and united team, the club success now will depend on management quality of their head coach, Ruben Amorim. This young coach will face with more expectation and pressure than the last season when he only took over a head coach position in middle of season.
