Noted sir, I also personally think just saying crypto currency in reference to Bitcoin is generally wrong, my debate was on the thought that the OP was saying Bitcoin is not a crypto currency rather a digital asset, so I wanted to give my own take on that, if he had pointed out that yes Bitcoin is truly a crypto currency, but when being referenced we should say Bitcoin or digital asset, my initial misunderstanding would have been cleared
Don't overthink it because you are free to say what is in your mind if someone says something that is not appealing to you, and it is good you raise a discussion like this so that people who always refer to Bitcoin as cryptocurrency will also learn and know it's not advisable to call Bitcoin cryptocurrency, and they will stick to using the word 'Bitcoin' anytime they are discussing Bitcoin.
