It seems that you don't know Real Madrid that much, or you just choose to underestimate them that they haven't made any effort to improve their performance and there is no evidence on that. Have you forgotten that Real Madrid only get worse in a season and become better the next season because they always learn from their mistakes. They have the financial strength to buy any player they want in order to strengthen and cover up the loop holes in in team.
I don't really think he does know the team well enough, exactly he doesn't know that even if they don't perform well in a particular season, it won't take them til long to bounce back to winning ways again that's why the club has the biggest history of all teams in the top five leagues in Europe.
Exactly, Madrid has always maintained their standards since onset. They have the resources and good management to make sure that they club stands out amongst others. Real Madrid is a team that you should always expect the best of them from season to season. It's just that no team is perfect and there must always be a difficult time for every club.
