Our lawmakers are debating whether to promulgate a law banning online gambling, as the present administration is concerned that the more than $700 million in revenues will be lost in taxes.
So, to prevent the government from losing huge revenues, the Central Bank has come out with these measures.
Do you think these guidelines are enough to mitigate gambling addiction?
As far as I know, the government always takes all sources of income from taxes very seriously. And if the casino really brings in so much money, then they will never refuse such a source of money to the treasury.
I am sure that even if we condemn them and publicly raise some kind of movement that will make this problem more visible to society, then most likely the government will simply allocate several million to show the appearance of a solution to the problem: TV stars who will say that you need to be able to control yourself.
