Henry Nicholls and Rachin Ravindra already touched 150 runs milestone and it was a 2nd day, now kiwi skipper has a chance of doing something funny and bat long, very long. People will call it statpadding but who cares?
Give their batters a chance to break individual records. Would be funny if both not out batters goes to score 400.
New Zealand players, coaches and team managers know it very well that they have enough lead already to win the match by an innings. They are still batting to add a new milestone to their highest run club. But I doubt that they will be able to take it above 300 runs. Rachin Ravindra is playing a quick innings though. There isn't really anything to proud of after making records against the current Zimbabwean team. South African players Wiaan Mulder was close to 400 runs against them a few weeks ago. They had declared the innings instead of breaking the records.
