Alexander isak has openly shown his want to join Liverpool & depart from Newcastle he has declined an extended contract , and has not attended the preseason games, & he has been training at the real sociedad camp also been isolated from the team by Eddie Howe, and has been training away from the team . Liverpool's first bid of €110 million & additional bonuses have been declined, Newcastle estimate him up to €150 million. Actually Newcastle wants to sign another quality striker before sending him away , but their push towards transferring Sesko has not seceded as he has chosen Manchester United. As things stand up to they get a well backup, Isak moves looks doubtful even though Liverpool remains his favor target.
There is no reason to keep a player who want's to leave. I am sure that Liverpool is willing to pay a hefty fee as well, so not like they want him for free. If Newcastle ends up just not selling, then just like PSG they will end up with nothing for a great player.
Newcastle is owned by the Saudi king, well technically not directly by him, but we all know he owns it. And he is still failing to make the team a destination, which is why the players are wanting to leave, when in reality he should have turned the club into some place players wants to join. FFP of course makes him not be able to pay as much as he can, he can pay so much more with his wealth, turn Newcastle into one of those Saudi league teams where he pays 50+ million to all players.
