Mbappe have taken over all the attention and no one is looking at Vini anymore. They forgot so soon how Vini was the best player in Madrid and was nominated as the favorite for Ballon D'or before Rodri snatched it from him at the dying minute. Vini is still one of the best player in Madrid, his performance declined last season does not mean that he shouldn't demand for an increase in pay when he deserves it.
I don’t think people still left Vini behind; the player is still doing great, and people still did not forget that he was one of the players that made Real Madrid reach the level it is now, so even if people are taking their attention to Mbappe, I don’t think it will change anything. Let’s see how the season goes first because that is what people were saying about Mbappe last season; everybody was saying all sorts of things about the player, but at the end, the player still did not do what people were expecting.
