No doubt with Antonio Conte reputation as manager and know well which one players needed in his tactician, last season success signing top players from Romelu Lukaku, Scott McTominay and this season signing Kevin De Bruyne from Manchester City. Most of his signing always expected with their performance although many people not really sure exactly last season when signing Romelu Lukaku and Scott McTominay.
Antonio Conte is a winning and successful coach so he won Scudetto with Juventus, Inter Milan and Napoli with biggest impression is with limited player resources he had with Napoli last season. He used avaialable players very well and coped with a transfer of Kvaratskhelia in winter transfer market last season very well. He boosted average player like Scott McTominay to a highest level in his career so far. It is very surprising to see McTominay performances for Napoli last season and he just was nominated for Ballon d'Or. The last year is like a dream for Scott McTominay from a player who had to leave Manchester United with disappointment to a key role in Napoli and a Scudetto, then a nomination for Ballon d'Or.
Conte brought in some out-and-out badass reinforcements this summer. Kevin De Bruyne slipped in on a free (guy is a legend), Noa Lang, Lorenzo Lucca and Sam Beukema have all come in and now they are even pursuing Trevoh Chalobah to strengthen the defense. McTominay continues to MVP and the midfield has legit stack potential, IMO Napoli are becoming legit repeat title contenders. It will take time to gel, bruh.
Having Kevin De Bruyne is good for their attacking power and while other players are not too famous, with management of Conte, there will possibly be some other magic from those unknown players. Defending Scudetto is difficult but Napoli will also play in Champions League so their general tasks in a new season are very huge.
With chaos in Inter Milan, AC Milan and Juventus, Napoli and Conte seem to have quite good opportunity to defend their crown.
