Because not everyone has an account on this forum, and I don't think its bad reputation is well known outside of it. As I said before, if you search for “free bitcoin,” that site is the first one that comes up. Even on this forum, we see people who continue to use the site, either because they have tokens locked there or referrals, or they simply don't care about its reputation. I think it's a site that still operates thanks to its past fame.
Freebitco has already gained a bad reputation outside of this forum within the last few months. Especially, you will see lots of complaints about the recent pending withdrawal issue on Trustpilot and some other websites. Around two months ago, it looked like Freebitco team was trying to solve all the issues. They have started to give 2× WOF spins, adjusted the FUN tokens APY rate and processed the withdrawal without long delays. But all of a sudden the situation has become worse than it used to be in the past. Besides the locked tokens, many users were keeping BTC at Freebitco to get interest.
