I think this could be their own means of facial recognition and also measures that can restrict minor from getting involved in gambling activities.
Perhaps,
Many folks wouldn't be friendly to this idea and it will also discouraged many users from doing business or rather patronizing their gambling site.
It is discouraging that whenever you're logging in, you'll be asked for facial verification. It isn't a vault to ask for such but we're at the mercy of these platforms if they start asking for that type of kyc. They might discourage others to gamble on them but I think, that's the sole purpose why they have implemented that. To lessen the addiction of their players and from the reports that they're getting from the government so, this is one way of dealing with it. You have no option if you want to still go with them, you have to obey their rules even if it's irritating.
Yes, maybe this is the government's way of dealing with minors who want to play in casinos, or those people who have made a self-prohibition on games, but still try to enter online casinos out of a desire to play more and more.
But I don't think that's true, because in reality the government doesn't give a damn who plays in the casino and when, and all the measures the government takes only create the appearance of fighting the problems. Remember when you saw, for example, a TV program about the harm of casinos?
