Yes that is true, the club has invested heavily on recruitment in the past 5 seasons, something they have not been doing even with Arsene Wenger and still there is very little to show for it. The fans are getting frustrated, Arsenal have become a club for ridicule and losing bragging rights, they need a change this season. This should mount enough pressure on Mikel Arteta to bring home a major trophy this season.
Arsenal have been fighting for the title for the last three seasons. Despite performing well, the team has failed to win the title. The main reason for this was their failure to maintain a consistent performance throughout the season.
In the last few seasons, we have seen Arsenal's performance decline whenever a key player in the squad gets injured. Arteta has not had any suitable replacements. This season, arteta has bought some talented players. Arsenal have bought talented players like Gyokeres, Zubemendi, and Madueke. Also Saka , Jesus, martinelli. Trossard and Havertz are quite talented. Arsenal's attack is very strong. And there are a lot of talented players. I am looking forward to seeing which 3 players Arteta will keep in his starting XI.
