The lesson I got from looking at all these influential people is you can be exceptional in your field but if you do not know how to manage your money you might just die penniless. I personally do not want to pass away after suffering from poverty. I want my last days to be spent in bliss.
apart from the angle of dyeing while leaving a lot of debt for others to pay, the likes of Michael Jackson that actually lived a life that speaks of them even after they have died some years back can not be termed as people that died poor.

Saying these guys actually died poor, I don’t think. In fact, they lived to their fullest, still owned homes, had some luxury and could virtually tour the world if they wanted to. That’s not poverty, that’s good living although, you can consider it living above their means but, they certainly where not poor and once they’ve passed, whatever they owed or owned wouldn’t bother them no more. They’ve left it for others to handle and that’s such a sad truth.

Yep You don't wanna die rich and not enjoy your life being rich. At least spend all of it, live a high life. We all die anyway and it doesn't matter whether you put inside a poorman's coffin or a richman's coffin, we all turns to ashes in time.

Although there are impressions that you didn't manage you finances well, but this thoughts is not yours. The critics can always say something even to someone who have been rich all their life til they're dead.
