But earlier, I was surprised when I opened the app to gamble because it now required me to take a selfie before proceeding. I’m thinking this might be part of the government’s move to ensure minors can’t gamble. Do you think this is a good first step?
As if they can identify if the gambler is a minor or not based on a selfie only. I mean there are some adults out there that look like young and vice-versa, right.

If the government wants to ensure that minors can't gamble, they must cooperate with Gcash and put a restriction towards those users that are 18 years old and below. We're submitting our personal information to them, so maybe this can help. I'm thinking "HOW"? I mean how they can detect if somebody is a minor or not basing on a selfie only. Speaking of selfie, haven't experienced this yet since I haven't gamble for such a long time on that mobile app. It would be very much annoying if it requires you to take a selfie every time you open a gambling game on the app.

Well, at least they're doing something right now to reduce the number of addicted gamblers here in our country. This might be the first step of the many steps that they need to do to lessen the virus that's been spread nationwide.
