I haven’t won really big in a casino or sportsbook, so I’m making this topic to get information from users who have already hit big, or who know stories about bettors who have.

My question is, do casinos release big wins instantly, like it’s just part of their normal process?

Please share your experiences so we can be aware..
And if there are any requirements aside from KYC, let us know so we can prepare for it in case we get lucky and hit the jackpot in the future.

It's hard to say really but most well run casinos will have a rough idea of the frequency that they'll pay out big wins and it is really engineered completely under their control - they might have a threshold for earnings before a jackpot becomes eligible to trigger. Besides that, most jackpots are only accessible to people playing the higher stakes and they are likely to have gone through KYC up to this point so there should be a fairly smooth payout process. Casinos make plenty of cash so honest ones shouldn't have any issue paying out these bigger wins, we might think a million is a big number but they might do tens of millions of profit on certain days so it all balances out in their favor, there is no point for them to create an unnecessary scandal.
