Whoever owns the early BTC deserves a Nobel Prize in delayed gratification. - Elon Musk
What do you think? I believe honestly it does make sense, and he has a point as well. Just imagine the situation during Bitcoin creation; there was just zero adaptation. Most people don't trust it and criticise it. But only a few people mined or bought Bitcoin in such a situation. There wasn't much social media to reach more people; the condition was really complicated if you compare it to now. I really appreciate their patience and convictions for Bitcoin. If there were any categories for financial patience and conviction, then early Bitcoin holders should get the Nobel Prize.
Do you believe something should happen like this, or are Bitcoin holders already rewarded due to the current Bitcoin price?
Why do early Bitcoin owners deserve to have Nobel Prize?
If anyone related to Bitcoin deserves to get a Nobel Prize, I only think of Satoshi Nakamoto - the Bitcoin creator. Hal Finney, Laszlo Hanyecz or early Bitcoin owners don't actually deserve a Nobel Prize if Satoshi Nakamoto did not get it.
There are other earlier projects before Bitcoin and you can find those projects as well as creators in
Bitcoin for everybody exclusively in Bitcoin Prehistory section.
