One of the reasons most persons will want to say that Barcelona or Madrid will win the champions league or other trophies is because of their form and the depth of their squad. Both teams has got a very solid depth that is enough to get people thinking that way, I do not want to believe people are believing that Madrid or Barcelona will win because of their former records in the champions league or their former performance. One advice I have given to my friends is that they should slow down with the much expectations so they will not have to face disappointment.
You're right, whats even previous records, what impact will that create or what does that has to do with winning this tophies mentioned here, when was that previous record season that Madrid didn't win any trophy, I think I will go with the points you made, people when arguments on things that are not real reasons why things are supposed to be for some teams, Realmadrid has gotten a big team and a very huge budget so it will not surprise me if they lift all the exotic trophies, why am I got pissed was their performance last season but in football some season can be very bad for some team that were very good before that was what happened to Realmdrid last season, Barcelona got a gin team too and I believe it will be a good season ahead for them too.
