For a developing country to escape poverty, they must be able to produce things. They would be industrious. And they should be able to produce something that they can export to other countries. When a country exports goods to other countries, they are assured of escaping poverty because they export what they produce and make money from their products, but when reverse is the case where by a country only import goods in to their country and not being able to produce anything they spend more money instead, such country may not be able to escape poverty.

Another way for a developing country to escape poverty is by having a quality education because when the citizens are well educated and have different skills, they would be able to create a business on their own and not rely on government work and salary alone, this way the citizens are gradually escaping poverty with their skills and education.
