From the title, it may be evident that the context of this thread is merely a form of self reward for the achievements I have experienced since I began collecting and holding Bitcoin several years ago.
I started collecting bitcoin quite seriously in 2022 using the DCA method. My goal in investing of course to achieve my own version of financial freedom, but as time went by and I having a partner, there were naturally some considerations I had to make such as finding a decent place for my wife and I to live.
After holding onto my Bitcoin for several years, a few weeks ago I finally decided to sell a portion of my Bitcoin to purchase a modest home.
With just 0.076 Bitcoin (I sold Bitcoin at a price of $120k, which is approximately Rp. 149 million in IDR), I finally obtained a home that I consider decent and this has been a very satisfying achievement for me so far in my Bitcoin investment journey.
Although some people might think it’s a bit regrettable to sell Bitcoin at this time, for me personally, since a house is a primary need for me now, I consider this decision to be the right.
I think the time for selling is good, 120k is a price that in my opinion is not so far from the possible high. Especially since you spent this money on buying a home and I approve of such spending, it is the right decision and now you will not have to spend money every month on renting a home if you rented it before. It is good that the housing was not so expensive, because in other countries you would have to spend a much larger amount on housing.
