With all these new guys that was introduced today by Slot, I felt they would run down Crystal Palace from the first half to the end of the game but nothing of such happened. It was a balanced game if you ask me because the dominance we expected of Liverpool especially in their attack was equal to what Crystal Palace gave back in return and it is safe to say that Liverpool won't find it easy starting from Friday.
There's nothing special about Liverpool and it will continue the way we saw them play today against Palace they might find themselves in a tight corner. All my hope was to see a team that will be aggressive in all positions but I never saw much of that even Mo Salah wasn't in the game and the manager need to get an attacker or a winger to serve as a replacement for Salah should incase they find themselves in a situation as what we saw when his position isn't functioning they can replace him immediately, if not it will repeat itself again maybe in their next game.
How do we say this? all of new players signed by Liverpool are perform, however the older players which we expect they will perform because they're consistent, flop in this match. Cheesy

Too early to sell Nunez I think? Arne Slot didn't trust Chiesa than Mac Allister to play as a striker, if Nunez was there, Nunez would be the one who replace Ekitike. It's very unfortunate for Liverpool, they spent that much but can't beat Crystal Palace.

I agree with you, is like they made a switch in performance today and if the had brought out that same performance that we know them for as of last season it would have gone their way, talking about the old players and how they displayed. I felt bad for Salah, he was battling with the ball to even beat his marker was a bigger problem, like he wasn't too well today, he is gradually losing form and I hope it won't be a problem when Slot start benching him or starting him from the bench and bringing him very late in any game.
Nunez might not be the best man for that position but believe me when I say this, he would have done something different from what the other guys who went in after Hugo was substituted. They judge the player too soon without giving him a little more time to regain himself and now no back up striker and I doubt if they can get Isak before the end of the window. All eyes are on them and many rival fans are waiting for them to make a mistake (which they already did today) to use it against them because they made it to the top in this transfer window, spending that high to start with a lost game, that's not a good way to start the campaign.
