It is known that in some U.S. states as well as in some other countries, the higher your income, the higher your taxes, while in others, the lower your income, the lower your taxes. The simple question I would like to ask you is this: which would you choose, to accept a job with high income in a where the cost of living is high and you pay high taxes, or go for a low paying job in a state where the cost of living is low and the taxes are low? After all, taxes never end.

In a situation like this, I don't think there's a simple answer because there are certain factors to consider.
How are the environments of both players like? I'm talking about the security, the serenity of the environment, life expectancy, and standard of living. You also look at the housing, if it's in an expensive city, state or country, are they worth the price? There are many other things to consider
California and New York have the most expensive places to live in the United States, and we know why.

Also, if I would save more with a high income despite a more expensive cost of living and more tax, then I would chose the high income city, but if the difference is not much or the same thing (in terms of savings after tax and monthly expenses) then the low paying state, if it has everything I want.
