With the current situation of RODRI sustaining an injury what would now be of the midfield I mean the defensive midfield of Manchester City? Because as it is everything might be pointing at the same direction as of last season, I don't want to see a weaker Man City next season that can't get a win against a promoted team, this season is suppose to be tougher than last campaign, without Rodri can we see a more different Manchester City than what we saw of them last season?

With De Bruyne gone to Napoli and Kovačić injured, the news that they will also be without Rodri devastated me. Man City will definitely be lacking a defensive leader in the ranks, but someone will need to step up. Most likely, Tijjani Reijnders — he has the pedigree for it, but whether he’s suited to the Premier League remains to be seen.

Hoping for a quick recovery for Rodri — the first estimated return date for him is after the first international break.
I haven't been following football news for a while now, but if it's true that Manchester City will start their 2025/2026 Premier League campaign without Rodri, that's a very big blow for Manchester City, and it's going to affect their performance real bad because we all saw how Manchester City performed badly last season when Rodri was injured. One good thing about Pep Guardiola is that he knows how to sign quality players, so even though Tijjani Reijnders isn't Premier League proven, I believe he will be of good use for Manchester City next season, but Manchester City will miss Rodri.
