Well, it all starts with corruption... Corruption inevitably leads to the weakening of institutions, the economy, and everything else. What follows is that many smart and skilled people leave the country due to low salaries and poor conditions for both work and life.

And it's not like Serbia can't change... but that change is slow, and every step forward is often followed by a step (or two) back. So we are like stuck... and maybe the situation is even worse, instead of moving forward, we are moving backwards. Someone would say it's a "real-life comedy show".
