Last season Inter Milan had great run to Champions League final but they did not win treble and could not beat strong Napoli team for domestic league title. For upcoming season it seems unlikely they will reach Champions League final again. With important players gone and potential new coach in Cristian Chivu it makes more sense for Inter to focus on winning domestic league title.
Getting to the champions league finals is not something Inter Milan Amy achieve this season again but in their domestic league they are very likely going to place priority such that they will create a chance and opportunity for them to win the league title this season and maybe another from other competition but mostly not from the champions league. If they are able to reclaim the Serie A title again in this new season, they will be enough of an achievement for them this season.
