The game between Chelsea and AC Milan in the pre_season tour was really a hard one for Milan to take with them conceding an own goal in the 5th minute of the game, an early lead that put Milan on pressure.
Then the red card that was shown on Andrei Coubis at the 18th minute made things worse. That silly mistake denied them the goal-scoring opportunity to 10 men, making it difficult for them to even press in the match. Modric was restless at this point, not even an attack was made from Milan. They were able to defeat against Liverpool on their pre_ season tour but with their game against Chelsea, Milan defenders struggled to even fathom what the attacks from chelsea was like -- particularly Joao Pedro and Liam Delap. They both scored nice goals Btw.
Ac Milan has not been a good team since last 2 to 3 seasons, I don’t know what is wrong with the team because almost all their players looks like they are not serious, watching Ac Milan match against Chelsea make me think that Ac Milan needs to sell some of their players and sign new players if Ac Milan will not have a good performance this season, Ac Milan haven’t spend much as the other clubs in Serie A are doing, Napoli, Inter Milan and others are signing players with money but Ac Milan is signing Luca Modric that is old from Real Madrid.
Ac Milan got a red card in the match but I still believe Chelsea will win the match even when Ac Milan player did not have the card, Ac Milan look like a team that is facing financial crisis because they haven’t make any good signings since last season despite selling some of their important players, i will not be surprised if Ac Milan did not make it to top 4 this season.
