There could be more asset to be scarce as bitcoin is in the future, still yet, remember that bitcoin is also made available to everyone to easily buy despite its scarcity, while gold for instance isn't, now talking about the future and any possible project or innovation being scarce like bitcoin, this may be something we may obviously have, but virtually not as the same as bitcoin, or with another technology different form what bitcoin is.
