How I avoid scams?
I keep hearing about crypto scams but not sure what to watch out for. Any tips or red flags I should know? For those who experience crypto scam, what lesson have you learned? Appreciate any advice.

The first step to avoid scam is to avoid being greedy. Of course, reading tips on scams or reading other's experience would safe you from being a victim of such scam if you read to learn from them. The reality is that, reading others experience will not completely make you safe from scam but only make you safe from already existing strategies. Unfortunately, new strategies are evolving from time to time that some time affects even the expert.

For tips, keep your wallet seed safe all the time and never click on random links. Don't use your main wallet to participate in giveaways, airdrops and any form of promotions especially if they require you to connect your wallet to their platform. In case you're being scammed, never make attempts to recover the stolen assets, you risk losing more. Always stay SAFU.

That is definitely true. New types of scams keep involving from time to time especially when the same trick does not attract new victims any more.
That is the primary reason why hackers/scammers keep trying various ways to lure people into falling for their traps.
Staying updated with the latest news on the same is the best way to prevent falling for new scams.
Also, as you have already mentioned, it's the best to keep separate wallets do different purposes to avoid attracting unwanted attention.
We can keep a cold wallet or hardware wallet for long term storage and a hot wallet for frequent transactions and a totally different hot wallet for airdrops or NFTs etc...
