Superb performance from the world champions yesterday against the Italian giants, seeing this performance Chelsea just keeps getting better and better with the recent signings they have made this summer. So far I can say that Chelsea’s signings have made the most impacts so far compared to other club signings. It isn’t just about the victories recorded by Chelsea in this pre-season but the composure and the way they play is something to be excited about for Chelsea fans and I’m stating today that you should keep an eye on Chelsea this season.

Despite this being a preseason match, Chelsea's 4-1 victory over AC Milan is a great achievement because AC Milan is one of the strongest teams in the Italian league, and to me Chelsea is one of the teams to watch to perform better than any other clubs in the Premier League this coming season. I know that every club in the Premier League has made perfect signings, but so far Chelsea has shown a great start, which gives me much hope for them.

Since it's a pre-season cup, it's not worth putting too much weight on Liverpool, but Crystal Palace gave them a good lesson. I wasn't expecting them to fight for the title with the same hunger and excitement this season anyway. Although Slot is trying to play the same game, they've already shown the first signs -especially Salah- that they won't be as good as last season. Wirtz and Frimpong made their debut and they were quite good. However, the rest of the team couldn't keep up with them. Like many champion teams, they also seem to have some complacency.

Crystal Palace already had one trophy, and even if they end the season without achieving anything now, no one will say they end the season trophyless, and the Community Shield is a well-known title, so I don't count it as preseason matches as you said, and Liverpool put in their best effort in the match, it's just that Crystal Palace didn't just give up on the pressure they received, like they did against Manchester City in FA cup.
