If the manipulation occurs at the club level, I still think it’s very possible. But if the manipulation is aimed at the league level, the possibility is low. I am confident that every league has organizations that will handle issues of violations, such as match-fixing involving clubs. For example, matches that determine qualification for larger competitions or to avoid relegation may involve match-fixing. The overseeing organization has the right to investigate and impose sanctions on clubs that are not sporting.
