Yeah, Conte is a great guy, but Napoli also are building a good team as well. They really wanted Garnacho too, but they failed so that could have been putting the nail in the coffin for me if that happened.
Conte successfully steered Napoli from a very poor state to lift the Serie A trophy last season. And now, they are fighting back to navigate this new season well as well.
Now, they have several new players, including De Bruyne, who in the first few matches, he has made a significant contribution to the club. Regardless of his current physical condition, he can still perform well for Napoli.

Oh yes, there's one rather intriguing interview about Pep's statement about De Bruyne:

But, a new era has begun for De Bruyne, and he will thrive at this club.

However some things are kinda off. Napoli has not only bounced back from a bad form but they also won the Serie A crown last season under Antonio Conte, by securing their fourth Scudetto on May 23, 2025. And of course, De Bruyne is actually going to join Naples and has left Man City without any transfer fee and has already shown the level of his skills in the pre-season, in which he had a brace along with an assist smacking down the trim-shamers. So yup, positive vibes coming out of the club and it's going to be super exciting for Napoli IMO.
