They defeated two big clubs in EPL and lifted up the trophy at the end of last season and at the beginning of this season. We need to be on a watch for this club because they might come out with an unexpected performance to surprise us this season. I really love their confidence.
I became a big fan of Nottingham forest after they finish seventh in 2024/25 season. In 2023/24 season Nottingham finished 17th, just one position above the relegation zone. This shows that every team has the capability to finish at top position regardless of it's position in last season. Likewise, Crystal palace finished 12th in 2024/25 season but they won Emirates FA Cup and recently they defeated EPL winner Liverpool in Community Shield. All indicators are positive for Crystal Palace for upcoming season.
Crystal Palace finished last season by winning a major trophy for the first time in over 5 decades and just at the beginning of the season, they've also been able to beat a star-studded Liverpool side that many believe are the favorites to win the English Premier League title this season but does that make me think Crystal Palace stands a chance of finishing the season in the top four? I don't think so. Looking at the EPL teams this season, I think there are clubs with better qualities and depth than the Eagles. Maybe they'll finish in the top 6 but I doubt in the top four.
