Wow, the last season Bundesliga winner will play the opening game of the season against Leipzig, which should be an interesting match to start the season. Bayern Munich deserves a chance to win the game against Leipzig because of the players they've gathered to defend the Bundesliga next season. Leipzig sold their best players and have yet to replace them, while I believe their attacking position will be weak because Xavi Simon is also set to leave the team this summer.
However, Bayern Munich defense might not be great at the start of the season, but I'm not sure they will concede a goal against Leipzig. Leipzig did not perform well last season, and I am beginning to underestimate them this season. Bayern Munich may win the match without conceding a goal, I will bet on the total over 3.5 goals, that's the risks I am willing to take for this match.
