Freebitco.in is owned by FBC B.V., which is registered in the Netherlands.
The Dutch gambling regulator (KSA) is currently taking enforcement action against them, which confirms they are a real entity operating within the EU.
I wanted to know more about this so I looked it up. It has probably been discussed elsewhere on this forum but for all who are interested:

If they stop paying entirely, then it’s better if they get shut down.
It appears they are milking this to the very end, rather than willingly closing up shop, and I predict they will try to collect as many new deposits while paying out less and less BTC until they are finally shut down.
Additionally, it seems like they are trying to pump their FUN token one last time. If you look at the activity in this
Telegram group, its the saddest thing ever. Just armies of bots tripping over each other to post bland cheerleading text... I can't believe marketing like this is ever actually deemed effective.
