There are other countries that have a traditional system that has reduced substandard goods and the Nigerian government can do it too just that the government will likely reject the idea because the system is corrupt, the people at the top all got rich through the corrupt system of substandard goods.
There is an existing system in place in the country through which you can use to identify substandard and unregistered products. Not many Nigerians are aware or do make use of it. Have you heard of the QR CODE? this is a code for different products in the market which can be used to identify if it is a fake product or unregistered with NAFDAC.
Every product you can find in the supermarket has that unique bar code, all you do is to scan the barcode of the product send it to google to know if you're buying a fake or original of the product. But many Nigerians neglect this process, how do you think they will give attention to the proposed DApps if applied in the fight against fake products in the country?
