Chelsea is not a champions League title contender because they don't have the squad depth to do that as their players are young and inexperienced I know that most Chelsea fans are carried away by their recent success but that should not deceive them.
The champions League comprise of the best teams across Europe and will need more than just a young team with to win there is a whole lot of things to consider like having the right winning mentality, experience etc which this present Chelsea team doesn't have
I can remember hearing similar statements before the club world cup until chelsea beat the odds to lift the trophy, I can’t believe this statements are coming up again. Let me ask, what does it take to win the champions league because in my opinion it takes a group of talented players with determination and good tactics to win and Chelsea tick these boxes for me so I don’t really get it.
When it comes to football, people don't just look deep into it before finalizing their statement about it, I equally have the same thought when the club World Cup started some people we are laughing at the two England teams that make it to the competition, due to their previous performance they were underrated which is to the extent that they are not even counted in top five of the teams that will win the trophy. Let's be honest, actually I was losing confidence in their Survivor especially for Manchester City, on like Chelsea it was 50/50 because their performance was so impressive and later they did unthinkable.
When it comes to winning of Champions League title it wasn't new to Chelsea, assuming it's Arsenal I will support him but Chelsea had won it twice which is why I will not say anything regarding their win. When you talk about experience and winning mentality should I say it was past tense for Chelsea but with the current arrangement those things have been stored.
