Inter Milan played well until the Champions League final last season but they failed to win the treble and their domestic trophy due to showing something unusual in the final but with the upcoming season in mind, the way each team in this league is buying players in a row it looks like they might be making progress in that area as well. However this team could not win the Champions League final, but Denzel Dumfries managed to finish a great season for which we can see him in the competition for the Ballon d'Or. Although this player may not win this award, he may have been able to bring some respect to his club, which proves that this team may be able to properly educate their players who have a worthy role to prove themselves in big tournaments.
It must be one of the worst feelings in the world to be able to get so close to win the treble and win absolutely nothing. I mean getting treble is awesome, but you can miss with one, that's fine, or you end up with just one thing, like either win the league, or the cup, or get UCL and you are happy. But when you get to league and lose with just one or two points, or lose at finals at UCL, and have a chance at cup but failing, all those are terrible feelings.
We should be considering how that could be an issue with how things are moving, that's the most important part for them at this point, because they are missing out a huge chance. I do hope that Inter does better this season and win at least one of them, they really deserve it. Going to UCL finals twice in three years and losing both must have hurt the most.
