Man United should be able to perform better after successfully bringing in several new players in the transfer market, but I am a bit skeptical about their ability to compete again in the European zone. Previously, Man United had also done the same thing by bringing in several top names such as Onana and Anthony, but they were unable to maintain their performance after coming to Old Trafford. Those who have just been brought in will of course be Amorim mainstays in Man United main squad, but they also need to adapt to the new atmosphere and the EPL style of play which is known to be hard and fast.
Anything less than top 6 positions is a failure this season cause they can't tell me that after signing, Cunha, Mbuemo, Sesko, then maybe they succeed in signing Baleba or any other good player that plays his position and a good keeper then they'll now finish below top 6, it's going to be very disappointing. Well they won't be competing in any European competition which means that they'll have time to focus on the Premier League so there's no excuse why Manchester United shouldn't succeed this season. Amorim wouldn't want the fans to be on his neck so he has to keep to his promises he said there's better days ahead so I believe that statement should begin with this season cause fans won't give him any room for excuse, I don't think the board members would either.
