I doubt if OP's friend would listen to him because, as it is now, he is likely an addicted gambler hoping to make a good profit from gambling that could make him rich and get all the good things in life. It would likely take the OP extra conviction to talk sense into his friend because the stage at which his friend is, is something that would require rehabilitation to handle, as the OP himself cannot handle such alone.
