There’s nothing wrong with being a gambler — as long as you know that’s what you’re doing. But calling it “trading” while acting on gut feelings is the fastest way to lose your stack and blame the market.
So… what are you really doing? Trading? Or just playing a risky game in disguise?
Let’s talk.

If I wanted to be a gambler in the trading space, I know where to gamble and the whole world knows that I’m gambling. But most of the time even when we already have a made up mind to follow rules of trading, our emotions gets in between and we begin to not focus on those plans but allow our minds to take control of all that.
Emotions is a very vital part of trading that when you haven’t conquered it, you will never get that profitability consistency you need in trading. So, in order not to be a gambler hiding behind trading, work on your emotions and develop a strict rule that you’ll obey no matter how persuasive the condition of the market makes you to want to disregard those rules and follow your emotions.
