Liverpool signing Guehi, who is 4.5m defender makes perfect sense for a route into the Liverpool's defense line without spending much, but then I don't think he's going to be a starter unless something goes wrong with Konate.
Chelsea are showing interest in Konate, but I doubt he will want to leave Liverpool for Chelsea. I saw some time ago of his interest in joining Real Madrid. I think a move outside the Premier League is more possible than a move within the Premier League, especially to a rival club like Chelsea, whom Liverpool will be contenders of the Premier League with this season. Konate remains very important for Liverpool.
